Departing Key West, this 8-hour journey takes you 70 miles offshore to Garden Key, home to historic Fort Jefferson. Spend time exploring its vast brick walls, then enjoy swimming, snorkeling, or fishing in some of the clearest waters in Florida. With options to visit Loggerhead Key or unwind on quiet beaches, your day can be as active or as relaxed as you wish. The 36’ boat features shade, coolers, safety gear, and room for up to 12 guests, making it ideal for families or small groups. Guests can bring their own food and drinks (alcohol permitted) and enhance their day with optional add-ons like light fishing gear or floating lounge mats. As the day ends, cruise back across calm waters and catch the sunset over Key West — the perfect close to a day of exploration and tranquility.
Itinerary
7:00 AM — Depart Ocean’s Edge Marina, Key West
9:30 AM — Arrive at Garden Key and tour Fort Jefferson
11:30 AM — Snorkeling or light fishing (optional)
1:00 PM — Lunch break (bring your own)
2:00 PM — Relax or add a Loggerhead Key stop
4:00 PM — Begin return cruise at sunset
5:00 PM — Arrive back in Key West
