Begin your morning in Gatlinburg with a drive into Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Hike the Laurel Falls Trail or take a scenic drive through Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail. Have lunch back in town, then spend your afternoon exploring Cades Cove, where deer, black bears, and historic cabins fill the valley. End with dinner in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg and an evening show or stroll downtown.
Day 1: Start in Gatlinburg with hikes to Alum Cave or Clingmans Dome for sweeping mountain views. Stay overnight in town.
Day 2: Explore Cades Cove by bike or car in the morning, then enjoy horseback riding or a cultural tour in the afternoon. Overnight in Townsend for a quieter evening.
