Just outside Asheville, this guided three-hour horseback ride reveals the beauty and tranquility of the Smoky Mountains. The experience begins with a safety briefing and pairing each guest with a well-trained horse suited to their comfort level. Trails wind through shaded oak forests and climb toward ridgelines that open to expansive mountain views. Along the way, guests often spot the farm’s bison herd, wild turkeys, or deer moving quietly through the forest. Each guide provides instruction, history, and local insight that enhance the ride without rushing the pace. The longer route adds depth and exploration for those wanting more time in nature. Riders of all ages are welcome, and small groups ensure a personalized and relaxing experience. Itinerary

8:30 AM – Check-in and meet your guide at the stables
9:00 AM – Safety briefing, helmet fitting, and horse pairing
9:30 AM – Depart through shaded oak forests with your guide
10:00 AM – Stop for scenic views of Madison County ridges
10:30 AM – Continue along ridgelines, spotting wildlife and bison
11:00 AM – Pause for photos and refreshments at mid-point stop
11:15 AM – Ride through forest clearings and rolling meadows
12:00 PM – Return toward the farm with panoramic mountain views
12:30 PM – Dismount and cool down with your horse back at the stables
