Description

Trade the crowded overlooks for quiet forest trails and hidden cascades on this remote waterfall adventure. Depart Gatlinburg with your guide aboard a comfortable shuttle to the high-elevation trailhead. The day’s journey takes you through old-growth forests, rhododendron tunnels, and mossy riverbanks that lead to three secluded waterfalls. Each stop offers time for photography, relaxation, or a quick splash in cool mountain water. Your guide shares insights on regional ecology, native species, and park history, turning the hike into a moving classroom set within one of the nation’s most biodiverse ecosystems. The route is designed as a one-way trek with shuttle service back, ensuring new scenery throughout and no backtracking. This moderate hike rewards travelers with solitude, waterfalls few ever see, and a renewed connection with the Smokies’ natural rhythms.
