Step into Colorado’s frozen wilderness and take on the challenge of ice climbing across its iconic canyons and alpine faces. Each winter, Clear Creek Canyon, the San Juans, and Rocky Mountain National Park transform into shimmering galleries of ice. Guided by AMGA-certified instructors, climbers learn tool placement, belay systems, and movement techniques suited for every skill level. Whether you’re swinging tools for the first time or chasing multi-pitch lines, this immersive full-day adventure balances adrenaline and safety in equal measure. With all gear included and routes customized to the group, you’ll finish the day with new skills, frozen-in-time memories, and a grin as wide as the canyon.

8:00 AM — Meet guides at trailhead for gear fitting and safety overview
8:30 AM — Hike to climbing site through snowy canyon terrain
9:15 AM — Warm-up climbs and movement drills
10:00 AM — Begin guided ice climbs on selected routes
12:00 PM — Lunch break (bring your own)
12:45 PM — Afternoon climbs and belay rotations
3:30 PM — Optional advanced routes or technique coaching
