Each winter, Clear Creek Canyon, the San Juans, and Rocky Mountain National Park transform into shimmering galleries of ice. Guided by AMGA-certified instructors, climbers learn tool placement, belay systems, and movement techniques suited for every skill level. Whether you’re swinging tools for the first time or chasing multi-pitch lines, this immersive full-day adventure balances adrenaline and safety in equal measure. With all gear included and routes customized to the group, you’ll finish the day with new skills, frozen-in-time memories, and a grin as wide as the canyon.

Itinerary

8:00 AM — Meet guides at trailhead for gear fitting and safety overview
8:30 AM — Hike to climbing site through snowy canyon terrain
9:15 AM — Warm-up climbs and movement drills
10:00 AM — Begin guided ice climbs on selected routes
12:00 PM — Lunch break (bring your own)
12:45 PM — Afternoon climbs and belay rotations
3:30 PM — Optional advanced routes or technique coaching
4:30 PM — Descend and debrief with guides
