Description
The West Sedona Canyon ATV Tour delivers the best of Sedona’s red rock scenery with the excitement of driving your own machine. Check in at the in-town depot, meet your guide, and gear up before a short shuttle to the trailhead. After a hands-on skills session, you’ll roll out across juniper-studded hillsides and sandy washes, following a route tailored to your group’s pace and experience. Expect a blend of confidence-building terrain and fun, twisting track that opens to sweeping vistas at every turn. Along the way, your guide shares stories from Sedona’s film past—over 40 productions used these canyons as a set—plus tips on the area’s geology, desert plants, and wildlife. Photo stops include high lookouts above the Verde Valley, including the ridge locals call Skeleton Bone Mountain, where skyline views stretch for miles. This is an adventure focused on safe, guided riding and memorable scenery rather than raw speed, making it ideal for first-timers and seasoned riders alike. Helmets, goggles, and instruction are included; you bring the sense of adventure. Wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, pack sunscreen and water, and get ready to see Sedona’s backcountry the way it was meant to be experienced—dust on your boots and red rock on the horizon.
