Description

Upper Antelope Canyon is one of Arizona’s most breathtaking natural wonders—and a must-see for any traveler to Page. On this guided hike led by authorized Navajo guides, guests experience the canyon’s famous light beams and graceful sandstone walls up close. Beginning with transportation from the check-in point to the canyon entrance, you’ll enter the narrow corridor where sunlight filters through the high openings, creating radiant shafts of color that shift from gold to crimson. As you walk along the smooth, sandy path, your guide shares stories that reveal how this canyon was shaped by flash floods and time, as well as its cultural significance to the Navajo people who have long considered it a sacred space. Throughout the one-and-a-half-hour tour, you’ll explore multiple chambers and natural formations with names like “The Cathedral” and “The Wave,” learning to photograph them from the best angles. Each curve and shadow tells part of the canyon’s 5,000-year story—an evolving work of art sculpted by the elements. The terrain is mostly flat and accessible, making this an easy and family-friendly experience suitable for all ages. Whether you come to capture its colors, understand its history, or simply stand in awe, the Upper Antelope Canyon Tour offers an unforgettable journey through one of nature’s masterpieces.
