Your trip begins at the dock in Jefferson City, where you’ll meet your guide for introductions and a quick safety overview. After boarding the boat, you’ll head out onto the open waters of Cherokee Lake, equipped with everything you need for a successful outing. Rods, reels, tackle, bait, and safety gear are included, and your guide will walk you through techniques for fishing with both live bait and artificial lures.

Stripers are prized for their size and strength, making them one of the most exciting fish to target. Whether it’s your first time holding a rod or you’re an experienced angler looking for a new challenge, the trip is designed to accommodate all levels. Itinerary

7:00 AM – Meet at dock, introductions & safety briefing

7:15 AM – Board boat, overview of fishing spots

7:30 AM – Begin fishing with live bait and lures

9:00 AM – Relocate to another spot; refreshments on board

10:30 AM – Continue fishing and enjoy the lake views

11:30 AM – Return to dock; weigh, photograph, and clean fish
