Description
The Island Kayak + Hike Tour is a perfect half-day adventure for families and explorers seeking a relaxed yet immersive Lake Powell experience. Launching from Page, Arizona, you’ll paddle calm waters surrounded by the vibrant cliffs of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Your guide leads you across the lake toward the sandstone “islands,” where smooth red rock rises from the turquoise water like a natural playground. Once ashore, stretch your legs on a short guided hike over ancient sandstone, learning about the desert’s unique geology, wildlife, and Native history.
