Description
Yellowstone’s winter transforms the park into a serene landscape of snowy valleys, steaming geysers, and abundant wildlife. On this 6–8 hour private safari, you’ll travel in a heated Chevy Suburban or Ford Transit van with large windows, accompanied by a professional naturalist guide trained in winter safety. The tour focuses on the northern range and Lamar Valley, often called America’s Serengeti, one of the best places on Earth to see wild wolves. Alongside wolves, you may see bison plowing through snow, elk grazing, bighorn sheep on rocky slopes, or even coyotes, moose, and trumpeter swans. Guides share stories of Yellowstone’s volcanic geology, the history of wolf reintroduction, and Native American heritage, bringing depth to the landscapes. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and hot drinks are included, and spotting scopes and binoculars are provided to enhance viewing. Pickup is available from Bozeman or Gardiner, with start times adjusted seasonally to match the best light and animal activity. Whether you’re a photographer, wildlife enthusiast, or family, this safari blends comfort, education, and adventure in Yellowstone’s most magical season.
