The Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Safari – Public Tour is a small-group adventure offering an unparalleled opportunity to explore Yellowstone’s Northern Range in winter. This region, open to vehicles year-round, provides the best chance for spotting gray wolves, bison, elk, moose, and raptors in their snowy habitat. Naturalist guides share in-depth ecological insights while helping guests safely observe wildlife through spotting scopes and binoculars. The day includes scenic drives, short walks to points of interest, and interpretive stops at iconic winter landscapes like Mammoth Hot Springs. Itinerary
7:00 AM — Pickup in Bozeman
7:45 AM — Pickup in Paradise Valley
8:30 AM — Pickup in Gardiner
8:45 AM — Pickup in Mammoth
9:15 AM — Begin winter safari along Northern Range
12:30 PM — Catered picnic lunch & hot beverages
1:30 PM — Continue wildlife viewing with guide interpretation
5:00 PM — Return drive with final wildlife stops
