The Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Safari – Public Tour is a small-group adventure offering an unparalleled opportunity to explore Yellowstone’s Northern Range in winter. This region, open to vehicles year-round, provides the best chance for spotting gray wolves, bison, elk, moose, and raptors in their snowy habitat. Naturalist guides share in-depth ecological insights while helping guests safely observe wildlife through spotting scopes and binoculars. Itinerary
7:00 AM — Pickup in Bozeman
7:45 AM — Pickup in Paradise Valley
8:30 AM — Pickup in Gardiner
8:45 AM — Pickup in Mammoth
9:15 AM — Begin winter safari along Northern Range
12:30 PM — Catered picnic lunch & hot beverages
1:30 PM — Continue wildlife viewing with guide interpretation
5:00 PM — Return drive with final wildlife stops
6:00 PM — Drop-off at original pickup locations
