Escape San Francisco for a day and journey into the heart of Yosemite National Park. Your adventure begins with an early morning hotel pickup, heading east across the Bay Bridge and through California’s fertile Central Valley. Orchards and Gold Country towns set the stage for the Sierra Nevada mountains ahead. By late morning, you’ll descend into Yosemite Valley. The famous Tunnel View frames granite icons like El Capitan and Half Dome, and waterfalls tumble in the distance. Frequent stops allow time for photos, short walks, and guide commentary about the park’s geology and ecology. From March through November, a highlight of the day is a moderate hike through the Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias.
