The Adventure Gateway to Northern Colorado
Fort Collins sits on the northern edge of Colorado’s Front Range, about an hour from Denver and 45 minutes from the east entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. This thriving university city is both a cultural hub and an outdoor playground — known for its biking trails, craft breweries, historic downtown, and easy access to river adventures in the Cache la Poudre Canyon.
With more than 20 breweries, a vibrant music scene, and a deep connection to nature, Fort Collins feels like Colorado distilled: outdoorsy, creative, and full of friendly energy. It’s also a launch point for day trips into the Rockies, Poudre Canyon, and scenic byways that show off the region’s natural beauty.
Experiences in Rocky Mountain National Park from Fort Collins is limited to private tours at this time. Many of our local guides based in nearby cities can pick up our sightseeing guests from local accommodations on the day of their tour. We suggest meeting your guide in Estes Park, which will allow you to maximize your day and allow you to participate in some of the small group tours.
