Description

Experience the spirit of Colorado’s high country on this two-hour guided horseback ride at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch. Just west of Loveland, the ranch’s 3,200 acres of scenic foothills, creeks, and ridgelines offer a true “don’t fence me in” adventure.

Your wrangler will pair you with a gentle, well-trained horse suited to your ability before leading you along trails that wind through cottonwood-shaded gulches and up toward sweeping ridge-top viewpoints. From Eagle Ridge to Alexander Mountain, every turn reveals classic Colorado beauty—open meadows, rugged red rock, and big sky horizons.

Rides are paced for comfort and safety, always geared to the least experienced rider in the group. It’s a perfect balance of serenity and excitement for couples, families, or solo travelers looking for an authentic ranch experience.

Helmets are available, and the ranch provides saddle bags for small personal items. With friendly wranglers, sure-footed horses, and photo-worthy scenery, this is one of Loveland’s most memorable outdoor experiences.
